As part of the "Valorisation and promotion of authentic Italian agri-food products” project, the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce in West in Los Angeles, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy and Accademia Italiana della Cucina (Italian Cooking Academy) organised a meeting for the local business community, at the consul’s residence in Malibu. And needless to say, the key protagonist of the event was regional Italian cuisine. Curated by the Italian Cooking Academy, the dishes were based on typical Italian recipes from the central/southern regions of Italy and were made using PDO and IGT products. These Italian flavours were accompanied with some of the most well-known and loved Italian brands in California: Bindi, Ferrarelle, Grana Padano, Pasquini Café and Antinori and D'Acquino wines. Over 150 guests from a variety of sectors (academic, cinema, agri-food and new enterprises) attended the event, including all the representatives of the Italian system in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
