As part of the FAND Annual Symposium in Florida (an annual event on food and nutrition that brings together the members of the academy, with the objective of promoting the best nutritional and health information among the public), the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Southeast presented an in-depth talk on the theme of “The health benefits of the Mediterranean Diet”: the relationship between the territory and product quality”, to over 80 nutritionists and dietologists. The initiative was part of the “Valorisation and promotion of authentic Italian agri-food products” project.
